Remembering Wohlfarth’s Bakery. A Pittsburgh classic. They started in Homestead and eventually moved to 5515 Penn Ave in the East Liberty neighborhood. Fondly remembered for their coconut crullers, elephant ears, whippped cream birthday cakes, chocolate drop cookies, cream filled donuts, nut rolls, triple filled coffee cake,strawberry shortcake and cupcakes they called chocolate gems.
